We donate $1 from every order to The Nature Conservancy.

We’re still a small company. Every dollar matters when you’re building something new, and honestly, giving is not easy for us financially. But we know it’s the right thing to do. Plants bring comfort and beauty into your home — your little piece of nature — and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back to the greater nature that sustains us all.
That’s why every April 15th, our brand anniversary, we donate $1 for every order directly to The Nature Conservancy, supporting forest protection and habitat preservation. It’s our way of making sure that as we grow together, we’re also helping protect the ecosystems that inspired this brand in the first place.
We don’t ship mass-produced plants — we send hand-picked ones grown close to nature.

Many plants sold at grocery stores or large retail chains come from high-volume commercial greenhouses. These plants are often shipped soon after production and may not have been acclimated for changes in light, temperature, or transit stress—making them more vulnerable when their environment shifts.
Our plants are grown in more natural or semi-controlled environments, nurtured with care and patience. We hand-select each specimen, allow for some natural hardening, and inspect plants carefully before shipping. The result: a healthier, more resilient plant that’s better equipped to handle a change of home.
We source plants locally — supporting small nurseries

All of our plants are sourced from nurseries in Southern California. Many of these small growers face real challenges: the rising costs of land, water, and labor, competition from large-scale producers, and market shifts that make it harder for family businesses to stay visible.
By choosing to partner with them, we’re helping keep local plant culture alive while also reducing the environmental impact of long-distance shipping. For you, that means stronger plants adapted to the local climate, and for the community, it means steady support for the growers who nurture each plant with care.
Sustainability isn’t optional — it’s our responsibility.
From local sourcing to conscious giving, our approach is designed to keep every part of our process aligned with nature. When you welcome a plant from us, you’re also supporting ecosystems, growers, and the future of green living.
